Getting started with in home care is as simple as calling Independent Life Home Care to schedule a personal consultation with director Zlata Zujic. Zlata personally meets with every client and their families (if applicable) to learn about their care needs and concerns to develop a personalized in home care plan which adequately addresses all aspects of the care required. Through this meeting, she’ll gain an understanding of each client’s personality, interests, and values, which will be used to pair the client to a caregiver who is a prime match to offer comfortable care and companionship.
During the initial consultation for home care services, we’ll discuss topics such as:
• Specific areas where you require physical care assistance, such as mobility, grooming, and dietary needs.
• Homemaking assistance requirements, including meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Your daily schedule as well as standing appointments and social activities.
• Scheduling home care services, including desired frequency of caregiver visits, accessing your home, and procedures regarding schedule changes.
During your home care services consultation, feel free to ask any questions you may have. We will take the time to address each of your concerns, and make sure you and your family members feel comfortable with our scheduling processes, home care services, and the specific plan we have created for you. Many of our clients and their families find it helpful to take notes, both during our meeting and beforehand, so as to make sure every question has an answer once we are finished.
